When you are first starting out as a brand spanking n00b, you will need gold. If you pick a flower of each color, you can give it to Reskin in the bar in the North part of Cameron. THis can be done ONCE per flower, per character. It won't work twice, he'll just give it back to you if you try it agian. Don't try to /trade with him, it won't work. You have to "give" it to him. Pick it out of your inventory, press the Ctrl key and hover over Reskin, then give it to him. He will then give you gold. 2.25 gold per flower. Bank it. You will also get small amounts of gold and things to sell off things you kill. THEN, Get some cheap armor and a weapon/staff or something to keep in your depot, which is the cabinet right next to the banker. Press your shift key, and then use the chest (depot) and you can store spare items. It's hard to get your corpse when you have no spare stuff. Get some spares!! It also sucks to die and loose your stuff if you can't get to your corpse and loose all your items. You need spares. In the event of an untimely death, you have 30 minutes to get your corpse and get your items. It's advantageous to make a note, while hunting, of where you are. I lost my corpse once and I never did find it. I lost my stuff and it stunk. |  |

There are maps of areas and if there aren't, right click the ground once in awhile and take a look at the numbers you see on your text where chat is. Those are your "coordinates". If you get help from another player to do a corpse retrieval, and you can't remember how to get back to where you were, those numbers will help you and whomever might be helping you, find your corpse. You can page up to look at them. Time is limited and it's no fun to run all over Ishtar's creation looking for your dead body. It's also can be annoying to the person trying to help you. Look at the time when you die so you know when your 30 real life minutes are up and scroll up using your page up key on the keyboard to find your last known coordinates. That's why I say right click the ground once in awhile while hunting. You don't need to write it down, just clicking the ground from time to time will log it in your chat log so it's available should you need it. |
