If you look on the maps page and click on "Aston Map" you will see a small gray square just underneath a green garden area in the center/southern part of Aston. The green garden has a large telescope looking thing with a hole near it. You will see it on your way to pents. The little gray area on the map is on the far south wall, west of the arena area and south of the garden with the telescope and hole. There are 3 ladders which lead down to a recessed area. There is a blue square just north of there. I'd suggest standing on it to reset your starting point if you die. Once your down there, press the shift key and hover your mouse around the edges and you will see some of the areas light up. Those are doors. If you right click to look, it will tell you what level demons you will find inside. Use the door to enter. The deeper you go into pents, the higher the level of demons. So right at the door, will be the lower level as stated on the door, for that area.
Bring a recall scroll which can be purchased in town. USE it if you get in trouble. Once inside, you may pop into a gaggle of demons. Kill them or leave quickly if you can't. You will see stars (pentograms) located on floors and walls. The idea, as near as I can tell, is to get as many of them as you possibly can. |  |

To use them - they must be white (colored ones have already been "got" by other players), press your shift key and they will light up, click to use them and you'll walk over and touch it. When you do this, demons will spring forth from it and you'll either have to run to the next pentogram or kill the demons. I think it's better to kill them. You get experience for them so you may as well.
Once all the pentograms have been used in there, they all reset and turn back to white. When they reset, demons will spring forth from all of them again so if you happen to be standing in an area that has a few pentograms (pents) around, you will be swarmed with demons and have to fight your way out. It's good experience if nothing else. I don't always even try to get all the pents. I found an area where there are 5 pents. I basically camp it and when it resets, I kill around 20 demons and then get all the pents and kill the demons again, then repeat. It's good experience if nothing else. If you can, get as many pents as you can, you get experience for those too it seems.
As you level up, you can go farther south into it and get to higher level demons. I find it's actually kind of boring but it is easy leveling when your lower level (like me) hehe. |
